Sorry!

Sorry I've been so MIA lately. Things are just a little stressful at school and in the challenge I'm kinda getting tired of all the brightness so I've been toning down with fall smokey colors and a nude I'm wearing today. So far I've worn Zoya's Yara, Zoya's Neeka and right now I'm wearing Essie's Case Study. All wonderful fall colors from fall collections. I'll be back on the challenge train soon...you'll see! Oh! And I swatched some practice for the galaxy mani...it's gonna be outta this world! (LOL I couldn't help myself!) See ya soon!

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 7

Today was black and white nails.
So I thought Revvvolution. :D
More of a charcoal gray, but the color police do not exist.
I don't feel like typing today so check out pictures.

Revvvolution by itself.
Color Club - Revvvolution and Sally Hansen Inst-Dry Whirlwind White
Bundle monster!

I'm doing by daily now by the way if anyone cares. lol

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 6

Today is violet!
And I I had such a hard time making a decision. (>.<)
So my choices were Color Club's Wild at Heart, China Glaze's Mummy May I, or Essie's Sexy Divide. And because the weather was supposed to be nice I choseeeee...
Wild at Heart! :D
Wild at Heart is a purple holo that is subtle indoors but under a shining sun really comes into it's own. And flashes holo like nobody's business!
I was trying really hard to capture the beautiful holo and I think I did ok. :)
Outdoors

I applied Wild at Heart with base coat, 2 coats of polish, topcoat, and 1 coat of polish for optimal holoey goodness. lol It dries fast (as most holos do) And is allllllmost opaque at 1 coat.

Well that's all for today! Now I have to think of an idea for my black and white nails!

Collection Post: Zoya Part II

Here's the next installment of my Zoyas. And it's beautiful reds!
L-R: Posh, Blair, Kalista, Sloane
As for the swatches I have L-R: Posh (matte), Posh (with topcoat), Blair, Kalista, and Sloane.
Here they are with no flash under fluorescent lights.
Here they are with flash. ENLARGE! Look at that wonderful Zoya shimmer!
Posh: applies like a matte dream. And because it's matte, so fast dry time! Could definitely be worn as 1 coat and out the door. I always use 2. I love it matte and shiny. I actually did a post on this color all by itself. :)
Blair: PERFECT darkened red for fall. I love it on my toes...and on my fingers. Flawless application. 2 coats to perfection.
Kalista: a nice pretty brown. Zoya describes it as: Dark espresso brown with plum-purple undertones and strong golden shimmer. SPOT ON! It's really pretty for fall and winter. 2 coats for opacity...like most Zoyas. lol
Sloane: a really dark purple with Kalista-esque shimmer. It can tend to look too dark in some lights but under lights it's a beautiful purple. I think you can wear at 2 coats but 3 adds depth.

Well that's all for now folks. Stay pretty and polished! :)

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 5

Day 5 and I'm still going strong!
Today's color is blue and I chose China Glaze's For Audrey.
It was between this and a Milani One Coat Glitter in Blue Flash.
But seeing how I've done alot of glitters lately I decided to go creme. :)

Here's a daytime picture, no flash.
Nighttime, pitch black with flash.
Pitch black, flash.
Daytime, no flash.
Ok For Audrey is a wonderful, what most would describe as a Tiffany's box blue. So delicate and feminine. Applies pretty nice considering my brush is a little wonky. I used 3 coats, but probably could've gotten away with 2.
Well that's all for now! Be back tomorrow with my violet nails! :)

Collection Post: Zoya! Part I

Look at all my pretty Zoyas! :D
31 are photoed and I now have 32.
Shoutout to all the fellow Zoya pixies out there...HEY! :)
L-R: Goldie, Kimmy, Paz, Ali and Areej.
Swatches. Pretty true to color except Kimmy is way prettier than that in person. lol
Goldie: Almost like a barely frosty 24K nail polish. It doesn't really work well with my skin tone...atleast I don't think so, but I've seen it look good on some people. 2-3 coats for opacity.
Kimmy: Came out with the Summertime glitters this summer. Red with a really standout gold glitter. It leans orange. Applies like a dream. Dries fairly fast. 2-4 coats for opacity depending on preference.
Paz: The most neon orange I've ever seen. Like traffic cone orange forreals. lol Applies like most neons do. Thin, but fast drying. If you aren't anal like I am about my nails you can get away with 3 coats. I did 5 for full opacity.
Ali: Neon pink polish! Like...the best kind! It's so pretty and pink and perfect for summer or whenever you want a pop of color. Applies a little better than Paz but along the same lines.
Areej: My favorite purple-ish pink. I don't know what you call it. (Zoya website calls it a soft, muted fuchsia. Spot on! lol) I love it for summer and now that I think about it I'm disappointed I have worn it recently...can be opaque in 1 coat but I always do atleast 2.

Well that concludes this portion. I'll probably be back tomorrow with one or two more. I've got a weekend all to myself! :D

Quick Post: I found something!

Wet N' Wild Fantasy Makers!
You guys probably don't know but I've been looking for these.
And I've been looking for glow in the dark nail polish since I found out it existed.
So this was exciting for me! And I snagged the last one!
Oh and how cute is the tombstone packaging? SUPER CUTE!
I haven't worn it yet but I'm pretty sure I'll be going back for a back up. :D

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 4

It's Challenge Day 4! And green is my favorite nail polish color! I have sooooooooo many.
I had a hard time choosing. I wanted to do Zoya Dree...and then China Glaze's Zombie Zest.
So I figured...why not do both?!
So here's Zoya Dree and China Glaze Zombie Zest.
Zoya Dree is a murky yellow toned green that I love oh so much. Lighter version of Shawn.
And Zombie Zest is a glittery halloween polish. Pretty sheer, but looks wonderful to layer. ^_^
Here I am with Zombie Zest over Dree as an accent nail.
It would've looked fine like that but I love glitter so I went full on! :D
Here's my rarely seen thumb!
And a hand pose I rarely do!
If you notice book in the background I actually have a test tomorrow so this is a rushed post. lol
It's not this light but here's a picture. :)
That's all ladies! I may do a post right after this as I found some polish I was lemming for today. Can't wait to show you guys! :D

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 3

Day 3 Ladies! But guess what? I hate yellow nail polish. lol
I literally only have 2 in my whole collection. I was dumbfounded considering I have around 300 polishes!
Well here's what I came up with!
Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow and China Glaze's Crackle Glaze in Crushed Candy. I thought they complimented each other well. :)
Here's Mellow Yellow on it's own. Fully opaque and not streaky after 3 coats.
And topped with Crushed Candy. My pinkies never crackle right! (>.<)
My favorite finger!

Well I'm excited about tomorrow. Green! I love green polish. I can't resist them...ever!
Until next time sugar plums. :D

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 2!

For Day 2 I decided to go with Zoya's Paz.
Superrrrr neon orange. It really freaked out my camera. lol
But this is about 5 coats (I lost count. *smh) I hate VNL!
So after I decided to go matte...again. (I can't help it, I'm obsessed! lol)
Very little cleanup btw. It applied like a dream and I suck at application!
The flash freaked my camera out big time!

My skin looks weird in this picture (>.<)
This is the closest I could get to color accuracy.

Until next time polished princesses! :D

Guess what I'm Starting Today?!

The 30 Day Nail Challenge that's what!
So for day one I did Zoya's Posh with one coat of Soho Punch and one coat of flakie.
Check out the flakieness!!!
I got bored after a little while and did a matte topcoat. :)
I love this color! :D

Collection Post: OPI, the Neutrals.

This is my last installment and yes I'm quite behind. lol
I'll start up the Zoyas after this! :D
But here we go! :)
L-R we have: Ti-Tan Your Toga (which I found out is a classic!), Barefoot in Barcelona, You Don't Know Jaques, and My Private Jet.
Ti-tan Your Toga: A sheer-ish white shimmer. Very pretty when you need a break from wild and wacky colors like I sometimes do.
Barefoot in Barcelona: the first nude I actually found to work with my skin tone! I now base all my choices off of this color. lol
You Don't Know Jaques: My favorite greige! It's very pleasing. :)
My Private Jet: sadly I have the green label. But it's still pretty!
Flash
Fluorescent lights
Flash
They all apply pretty magnificently. :)

Quick Post! Rave!

I'm super lzy right now but I just want to come on here and rave about the polish I've been wearing for about three days now. And if you guys must know anything about me it's that I'm a one day polish type of gal. The polish I'm wearing is Color Club's Fashion Addict. I should probably post pictures and I probably will another time...
But I just want to say how wonderful it looks on my newly chewed off nubbins. It looks fabulous! It's a light purple that leans sort of pink. But here's the kicker, it's a holo! A wonderful holo. :D It applies wonderfully. Please go google the swatches. :)
Well that's all for today my polished ladies!

Collection Post: OPI, the purplies and blues!

Here are my darker OPIs.
Purples and a random DS! :D
Well here are pictures. :)
L-R: Pamplona Purple, OPI Ink, Russian Navy, Linkin Park After Dark, and DS Extravagance.
Flash
Fluorescent lighting.
Flash! :)
Pamplona Purple is similar to some off the purple Zoyas I see floating around. I've had it for a while now. :)
OPI Ink was definitely a great find. So glittery!
Russian Navy reminds me of OPI Ink but a little less purple with more of a shimmer. I wish I would've gotten it in suede too though!
Linkin Park After Dark is a great vampy shade but I wish I would've gotten Linkin Park After Midnight instead. :(
DS Extravagance is a holo! I love holos. Nuff said. :))
Well goodbye my pretties. Until next time my fellow polish fiends. :D
