Mani I'm Sporting Right Now...

Hi ladies! Here's a manicure I did yesterday that I absolutely adored. I've been really branching out into nail art...mostly because I've been home for summer break doing nothing productive. Anywho I've done a striped blue gradient and galaxy nails. Maybe I'll do a duel post on both of them. :)
On to the mani at hand!

Here it is! Zig zag lines! :D

Here's what I used:
OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
Zoya Dree (as base color; except for accent nail)
Color Club Wild at Heart (used to stamp; except for accent nail))
Out the Door Top Coat
I used a Bundle Monster stamping plate BM201 for the design.

Picture taken under fluorescent lighting.
As you may be able to see my ringer finger is the opposite design.
Here's a picture with flash to show how clean the lines are. ^_^

Right Index finger. My favorite one!

I love this design and color combination. So purdy. And Wild at Heart is such an awesome polish for stamping...now that I think about it all of the old Color Club holos are perfect for stamping. I'm honestly looking to buy a backup bottle because I love WaH so much. Anyways let me stop praising. Until next time!

Random Mani from this Week. And my first indie! :)

Hi ladies! Here's a mani I wore a few days ago. I actually liked it alot and my boyfriend even thought it looked pretty good. ^_^ And he normally doesn't care at all. lol

Here's a full hand shot. Indoors.

Here's what I used (and I included base and top coat this time!):
1 coat L'oreal One Stop Base Coat
2 coats Julep Anne on all but ring finger
1 coat Sonnetarium Snowfall over Julep Anne
3 coats China Glaze I'm Not Lion as accent nail
Topped it all with 2 thin coats of Out the Door top coat

Outdoor pictures. So Purty!

Inside picture.

Inside and closer up. Look how nice Snowfall is! It's sold at Sonnetarium etsy shop. The wonderful lady who makes this polish is awesome. So nice and she's has some beautiful creations. :)
Anywho that was my mani. I wore it for about 2 days. Love love loveee.
But until next time...see ya!

My First Jelly Sammich! :D

Hi anybody still reading! It's been a while but I finally found a new way to upload pictures so I'm back! :)
So anywho on to the mani! Enjoy.

Here's what the mani looked like. I absolutely loved it. And I don't see many people but the 3 girls I did see when I was wearing this adored it! So I was excited. :)

Here are the polishes I used:
Julep Robin
Milani Gems FX
Essie Set in Stones
and Essie Marshmallow (perfect jelly samich top!)

I did one thick coat of Robin, topped with Gems FX (for my ring finger I added a topping of Set in Stones) and topped it all with Marshmallow. Simplistic perfection!

Here's a shot of my thumb! :)

And one more shot of my fingers.

I love love loved this mani. I'll be playing around more with jelly sammiches in the futures. Different glitters and such.

Sorry!

Sorry I've been so MIA lately. Things are just a little stressful at school and in the challenge I'm kinda getting tired of all the brightness so I've been toning down with fall smokey colors and a nude I'm wearing today. So far I've worn Zoya's Yara, Zoya's Neeka and right now I'm wearing Essie's Case Study. All wonderful fall colors from fall collections. I'll be back on the challenge train soon...you'll see! Oh! And I swatched some practice for the galaxy mani...it's gonna be outta this world! (LOL I couldn't help myself!) See ya soon!

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 7

Today was black and white nails.
So I thought Revvvolution. :D
More of a charcoal gray, but the color police do not exist.
I don't feel like typing today so check out pictures.

Revvvolution by itself.
Color Club - Revvvolution and Sally Hansen Inst-Dry Whirlwind White
Bundle monster!

I'm doing by daily now by the way if anyone cares. lol

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 6

Today is violet!
And I I had such a hard time making a decision. (>.<)
So my choices were Color Club's Wild at Heart, China Glaze's Mummy May I, or Essie's Sexy Divide. And because the weather was supposed to be nice I choseeeee...
Wild at Heart! :D
Wild at Heart is a purple holo that is subtle indoors but under a shining sun really comes into it's own. And flashes holo like nobody's business!
I was trying really hard to capture the beautiful holo and I think I did ok. :)
Outdoors

I applied Wild at Heart with base coat, 2 coats of polish, topcoat, and 1 coat of polish for optimal holoey goodness. lol It dries fast (as most holos do) And is allllllmost opaque at 1 coat.

Well that's all for today! Now I have to think of an idea for my black and white nails!

Collection Post: Zoya Part II

Here's the next installment of my Zoyas. And it's beautiful reds!
L-R: Posh, Blair, Kalista, Sloane
As for the swatches I have L-R: Posh (matte), Posh (with topcoat), Blair, Kalista, and Sloane.
Here they are with no flash under fluorescent lights.
Here they are with flash. ENLARGE! Look at that wonderful Zoya shimmer!
Posh: applies like a matte dream. And because it's matte, so fast dry time! Could definitely be worn as 1 coat and out the door. I always use 2. I love it matte and shiny. I actually did a post on this color all by itself. :)
Blair: PERFECT darkened red for fall. I love it on my toes...and on my fingers. Flawless application. 2 coats to perfection.
Kalista: a nice pretty brown. Zoya describes it as: Dark espresso brown with plum-purple undertones and strong golden shimmer. SPOT ON! It's really pretty for fall and winter. 2 coats for opacity...like most Zoyas. lol
Sloane: a really dark purple with Kalista-esque shimmer. It can tend to look too dark in some lights but under lights it's a beautiful purple. I think you can wear at 2 coats but 3 adds depth.

Well that's all for now folks. Stay pretty and polished! :)
